Here, the trunk divider is finished! We began working on the rear windshield, which was leaking slightly. We also installed the new bumpers (rear and front), which came in from Mustangs Unlimited this week. The roof was also treated with rust remover, so Patrick can install headliner when he gets it in Germany.

They continued to work on the trunk divider welding in these photos. It’s all in now and rust treatment is being applied along with some other finishing touches. Photos from that coming soon.

Here are some photos showing the engine after it was removed from the Mustang. They put on the transmission and took more photos of the headers. We have some pics of emergency brakes and working out the cabling system with the stock. We will have to come back to that later.

We also have some detailed photos of the spark plugs and engine parts. We have replaced the plugs with Auto Lite Ford brand. I wanted to use the Bosch name, but they will not fit the old 390 blocks. We never knew that until now. We have used them on all the small blocks and many big blocks, but they will not work with the big block 390cc? The engine needs a quick tune up as you can see from the spark plugs pics. There are also a few pictures of the trunk divider. Tim was cutting it down to fit properly. This piece has to be customized for the Coupes. The ’67 Coupe divider is not available.

The guys are getting down to the nitty gritty stuff. They worked on the rear end, gear box, and steering column.

The transmission also came in and will be installed soon. Here are the shipping photos.

They also started installing the new trunk divider. Some welding had to be done and the divider still needs to be carefully cut for a good fit before its installed.
