July 28- Trunk Divider
They continued to work on the trunk divider welding in these photos. It’s all in now and rust treatment is being applied along with some other finishing touches. Photos from that coming soon.
July 20-21 Disassembly and repair
The engine compartment has been disassembled. We will be replacing the battery fender apron, checking the transmission, and replacing the rear seal on the engine. The transmission is acting up in reverse-it jumps out of gear. More info on the shifting coming soon.
They also began treating the ceiling for rust before installing the new headliner. Mitch is seen here on the 21st working on the area between the front windshield and passenger side window. He was removing bondo and smoothing cracks. They also spent some time on the dash to treat rust.
