December 22- Cathy’s Disassembly, Engine Pull
There’s a lot going on here! We’ve removed the front valance and both fenders on Cathy’s Mustang, and are showing the condition of the metal as much as we can. We also drained and removed the radiator and have just pulled the engine.
November 21- Biff’s Engine and Transmission Pull
Alright, we’re pulling the engine and transmission on Biff’s Shelby, and wrapping up Phase I of the restoration process. We’ll be tagging and bagging a bunch of stuff in the coming days, and preparing Biff’s baby for sand-blasting, the beginning of Phase II.
October 28- Ammar’s Engine Pull
We’re pulling Ammar’s engine to do some cleaning and dressing-up. The last guy we had do this work for us didn’t really meet our standards, so we’re going to either do this one ourselves or get one of our trusted partners to handle it.
The engine is once again out of this ‘Stang! They pulled it to install the transmission and to put in new headers. The engine got a tuneup with new spark plugs. The Bosch plugs could not be used. They wouldn’t fit that old of a block, so went with the HiPo AutoLite Ford brand. There are also some photos of the trunk divider area, where we are still working on the welding.
