Here’s just a few snippets of some of Cathy’s parts. We’re wrapping up some of the last interior parts left to be put away into storage, as seen–door panels and things. In addition, we’ve done some priming over the new frame rails we just received in for Cathy.

We’re sand-blasting the metal components from Dave’s under-dash, especially his heater-A/C box. Then, we laid out all the parts in our paint booth, and will be priming them as soon as we get some of Cathy’s parts together in order to work with larger batches of parts.

After the sandblasting was completed, the Mustang was primed all over. Two weeks later, Big Chief decided to hit it again with another coat of primer all over the Mustang, just to make sure it was good and protected. He and Tim did a very thorough air-blasting all over the Mustang to get any and all dust particles off, and then Big Chief primed everything in a second coat.

Here’s Big Chief priming the frame rails and rockers and other important sheetmetal components. He’s using a very tough, two-layer apoxy primer on the metal to protect it until it’s all welded onto the body, after which we’ll paint it to the original factory specs.

Here we are priming over the portions of Laurens’ Mustang that we have finished the metalwork on–as you can see, a lot of the main body is finished. We’ve also included photos of the seam sealant under the dash, around the cowl, where we just recently applied a second layer.
