Biff’s Sandblasting Preparations
Here’s the crew at our home base with Biff’s Shelby up on the rotisserie. We’re finishing up the disassembly, including the entire suspension and the rear end, in order to transport the Shelby down to our shop and begin the sandblasting of the Unibody and all the parts. Big Chief will be personally supervising the entire operation to make sure those precious Shelby numbers don’t get touched by the sandblaster–but we’ve got a great partner, Scott, doing the sandblasting for us, so he and Ed will take good care of her.
Pat’s installing Laurens’s firewall pad and did some parts prep on a bunch of other stuff, including priming and painting headlight buckets, windshield washer motor mounts, etc for installation.
November 4- Phil’s Clutch Prep
We’ve begun disassembling the bell housing on Phil’s transmission in order to service the clutch before we ship this baby over to him. Here we are cleaning up his clutch and all the components we’ve removed before we do the necessary repairs.
