Continued to cut exhaust pipe and fit chrome tips in proper place; Completed chrome tip; Went back and re-tighten all exhaust clamps; Made sure exhaust in proper location; Note- it is a very tight area and the exhaust has to be hung to where it won’t heat up floor board, gas tank, gas lines, etc.; Exhaust tips are very difficult to space and place, takes several pre-fits, trial and error; Ours turned out well, Big Chief well-pleased;
2011-02-21 Dave: Exhaust Tips
Worked on painted parts today; Cleaned masking off painted parts, (2) sets of rear exhaust hangers; Continued working on the rear exhaust; Pre-fit last tail pipe exhaust; Cut exhaust correct sizes; Added chrome exhaust tips; Exhaust should be completed tomorrow with one more day to tighten and hang the tips; Looks really awesome; Removed front dash installation trim from paint; Inspected, looks very nice; Note- this is second time we had to paint these, the first time, the paint dulled and did not meet Big Chief standards; Today the paint looked very nice; Started installation of this trim; Only worked half day on car, helper had to leave early.
