April 1, 2- Cathy’s Rear-End Disassembly and Cleaning

We pulled the rear-end out of Cathy’s Convertible and disassembled it, detaching the brake drums and leaf springs and all the rest of it. Then we pressure-washed it to get all those years of grime and dust off, and will be storing all the components away until we reach the restoration and re-installation phase.

October 31- Ammar’s Engine Compartment Cleaning

We’ve pulled Ammar’s engine and have begun cleaning his engine compartment. We started with a pressure-washing and have begun taking apart various things to clean them more thoroughly, such as the water pump and the harmonic balancer.

October 29- Ammar’s Engine Cleaning

We are pressure washing Ammar’s engine, after sealing off all the necessary ports, and will be dressing it up within the next few days so we can make Ammar’s Mustang really shine!

October 16- Pat’s Finishing Up

We’re wrapping up the work on Patrick’s Mustang, and we’ll be sending it off overseas ASAP. Pat has some more plans for this baby in his hometown, such as an acid-dip and re-paint by a friend of his, so we only assembled the Mustang such that it can be driven. We’re cleaning and detailing it now as well. Included are also some pictures of some gauges that we’re returning. The starter is very close to the headers, to for its protection we have wrapped it in heat-resistant protective material and provided pictures.

October 1- Dan’s Mustang Cleaning

Here’s some in-depth inspection photos of Dan’s Resto-mod, after Randy has chemical cleaned it to remove all the forty years’ worth of road grime and dust. As you can see, it is now easy to tell rust from good metal, so Randy can get to work on the body and getting it solid and rust-free. September 25- Adnan’s Transmission Cleaning

We’re chemical treating and cleaning up Adnan’s transmission here, and getting all the grime and old fluids drained out. We’ll be replacing the tranny oil pan’s gaskets to stop the leak and replacing all the transmission fluids.
