Trouble-shooting timing problem; removed wiring; removed aftermarket wiring; We added standard distributor (’69) to bypass MSD, but no luck cranking. Note- got it started, it did crank but ran very rough, missing timing;

Working on cranking it; Trying to find the wire shorts in engine compartment, checked wiring, tested wiring; Discovery: Power going into MSD brain but not coming out, could not get cranked; Removed solenoid; Removed the coil and tested, working,added stock distributor, still no crank. Found various shorts and wire breaks; Made repairs; Started removing extra wiring that previous owner had used to wire an aftermarket horn and various other gauges, attached to bottom of dash; was not Ford wiring; Still no results?
