We’ve got Jolliff’s Mach I Clone in our shop for a little while to do some repairs on it to make sure it’s in tip-top shape before it’s sold. We’ve pulled the interior and the dash and have repaired the entire wiring system, which had a few shorts in it, including the ignition switch. We also checked the wiring to the speakers, and we’ve found a few pinches and problems, so we’ll be re-wiring the speakers in the rear and side. The dash pad, as you can see in these photos, is pretty heavily damaged and we recommend replacement.

We have picked Dan’s Restomod up from Randy’s shop in Alabama–it’s no big deal, Randy is still working hard and does a good job, but he’s been very busy and so the restoration has been going a little too slow. So, we’ve brought it to our own shop in Florida to baby it back into great health, as we’re sure Dan is anxious to get his Mustang back so he can hit the road in style.

Here we’re checking the metal condition of the exterior of Cathy’s Mustang. We’re currently preparing the jig, which we’ll use as a guide to make sure all the floorpans are welded in straight to get the undercarriage done first, and then we’ll move on to the exterior body panels, which will be mostly replaced, as opposed to lead filling/metal repair.

Here we are, loading Tony’s Mustang up for shipment! It’s officially off to Louisiana, where it will wait for Tony to get back from his service tour to begin loving on it. Tony will be doing a lot of work on his own on this Mustang, though we wants to drive her as soon as he can.

We’ve disassembled the doors to Cathy’s Mustang, including the door pads and all the window mechanics. The doors have some rust, but they don’t appear too badly damaged. Depending on how long we expect it will take us to repair them, we may just advise to replace them.

We just received in a huge shipment of Cathy’s new body and sheetmetal, including shock tower aprons, radiator supports, and the entire floorpan piece! They sure do look great. We’ll be welding everything down ASAP to get Cathy’s Mustang back to its prime.

Here are the photos of Tony’s Mustang after we temporarily screwed-in the replacement floorpans we have for him. We’ll be shipping this Mustang off to Louisiana for Tony very soon, where he will begin the restoration and enjoyment of this solid little Mustang!

We have some past pics that have been added out of sequence… Here is a thorough inspection we’ve completed on Cathy’s undercarriage, to look over and determine the extent of the rust-damage. It is pretty severe. We’ve cut out the floorpans and will be grinding away the rust on the seat platforms to determine how they’re holding up as well. The torque boxes and frame rails have extensive damage to them as well, as we’ve got some major metalwork in our future.

We received John’s Mustang into the shop a few weeks back, here are the pictures of us unloading it and taking a few preliminary pics. The next step is to do a short inspection the Mustang to let us and John know where we stand and what will need to be done, which we hope to do this weekend (April 17th-18th)!

After completely disassembling Dave’s interior, and especially the dash, we wanted to do a thorough photograph showcase of all the parts, to document what we have and to show Dave what he has. Lots of photos, lots of parts! They’re in very good shape–the parts, that is–so the reassembly should be very smooth.
