What makes this 'Stang so great is that it is a 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe that is numbers-matching with its 200 1v I6 engine and C4 automatic transmission, both of which Laura believes to be original. It also has air conditioning, but Laura tells us this hasn't been checked or serviced in a while, so that may be recommended. The interior has some moderate wear and is in fair condition--there are significant tears in the upholstery, but otherwise it looks very good. The undercarriage is solid, but we do see some rust, though it doesn't appear to be very bad. The trunk compartment also has rust, which you may want to take care of, unless you're looking to begin a full restoration, in which case it'll be handled along the way.

Update 01/18/11: Laura's Mustang has been updated with a new battery and solenoid and a new windshield is to be installed next week.

For overall structural integrity and reliability, MustangOnlyOne gives this Mustang an 8 out of 10 points as a daily-driver, as it is all numbers-matching (and most likely, original) but it does have some rust which ought to be addressed.
