Let Me Tell You About the Owner...

Mike is a young guy in his mid-twenties that we met in Arizona who has had this Mustang since he was only sixteen years old! Mike has worked with his father in his father's wreck- and collision-repair center, so they have been around cars for a very long time and knew what they were doing when they set out to completely restore Mike's 1965 Mustang. Mike is the third owner of this Mustang, though all three owners have lived in the same Arizona city, so this is an Arizona Mustang in every way. However, Mike's growing up, so it's time to move on (at least temporarily) and prepare for things like a family and a house of his own, so he's decided to let go of the baby that brought him into adulthood with speed and style.

What makes this 'Stang so great is that it is a 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe that has been fully-restored and completely gone-through. It has a 200 1v I6 engine that has only 72 miles on it since rebuild and a rebuilt C4 automatic transmission, both of which are numbers-matching. It has a very new, custom racing-stripe paintjob and new bumpers, and the interior has been completely gone through: the seats have been redone, along with new seatbelts, headliner, dash pad, carpet, and door panels. This Mustang has its original A/C and a custom sound system as well: the custom radio/player is installed in the glove box (so this Mustang can keep it's classic, Ford-style look) with a dual 12" sub box in the trunk, and custom liner in the trunk to make it look better and to insulate the sound. The undercarriage also looks very good; it's been undercoated in black but we don't see any traces of rust or, even more importantly, rust penetration or damage. For overall structural integrity and preservation, MustangOnlyOne gives this Mustang a 10 out of 10 points as a street-show driver, as it is structurally very solid and the important components have been preserved as numbers-matching while Mike took creative license on other aspects of this Mustang. For overall aesthetic quality and performance, MustangOnlyOne gives this Mustang a 9 out of 10 points as a street-show Mustang, as Mike sacrificed power (a beefed-up eight-cylinder) to maintain numbers-matching status, which is a controversial move for a street-show Mustang.

This is a restored street-show Mustang in excellent condition.  It can be trustfully driven anywhere.  We guarantee satisfaction with this vehicle upon final inspection and we will assist in loading for transport. It has no other warranty or guarantee of any kind and is sold as is. All we can do is describe the vehicle for full disclosure as detailed as possible, inside, outside, and underside.
