MustangOnlyOne Summary:

What makes this 'Stang so great is that it is a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe that has had a lot of work done on it to make it a powerful, customized driver Mustang.  It has a custom paintjob, black with silver racing stripes, over the original Candyapple Red color.  It has a 560 cfm 4v Holley carb onto the 289 V8, and also a 5-Speed Tremec toploader manual transmission from a 1990 Fox-body Mustang.  The transmission has a Ford Racing hydraulic clutch.  With the five-speed and clutch, this Mustang can really burn rubber and get down the street; it shifts smoothly and the engine runs great--we know because we've already tested it ourselves!  The suspension is all new, except for the leaf springs.  The interior is in rough driver condition, such as a sagging headliner, cracked dash pad, and a worn and cracked steering wheel.  We are working on reconditioning all of this to bring it up to snuff.  The undercarriage is solid and rust-free.  MustangOnlyOne is currently doing some work on this Mustang for its owner, Allen, including replacing radiator hoses and some of the gaskets around the engine, such as the valve cover gaskets.  We're pretty much going through it completely, doing a bit of minor repairs and some reconditioning to get it into good, reliable shape so you can drive it a lot (that's what this one was meant to do, afterall).  When we get done with this one, it will be a solid driver Mustang that gets the most out of its 289s largely untapped power.
