MustangOnlyOne Summary:
Our partner Bill is selling this ready-to-restore, rust-free 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback, which he has named "The Bride," as the Bride of his "Frankenstein" Mustang. It has had all the body work done and the metal is in excellent shape, and the body is primer black. This car has no damage or rust. It has no engine or transmission for $9000 or Bride will make it Ready to Drive for $11,000. This car will make for a great street-show car or non-original restoration and has all the hard work already done.
UPDATE: Okay, so she's not the Bride of Frankenstein anymore, but we're keeping the name because we like it! Bill is currently having this Mustang painted Candyapple Red with the black and gold Mach I stripes. He has the newly rebuild, numbers-matching M-Code 351W with an all new rotating assembly, 10.1 compression, a performance cam to give it a good muscle car lope and GT40 heads. It also has a 670 Holley carb, Hooker headers and Mallory ignition. Bill installed Magnum 500 wheels with new tires, and rebuilt the stock brake and fuel systems. He also went to great lengths to preserve this Mustang's interior--new carpet, original seats, new headliner, restored door panels, restored wood grain dash and console, and original back seat with restored fold down. It has a new radiator, rebuilt front end, rebuilt heater box, new windshield, serviceable C4 automatic transmission with original shifter and serviceable rear end. Bill and his guys will be receiving this Mustang back from the paintshop around the 10th of August and will begin reassembly and hope to have a complete rotisserie restored Mach I by Labor Day.
