What makes this 'Stang so great is that it is a 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible that Lanny has restored and now drives it around town all the time. It has a J-code 302 4v V8 in excellent condition with a very nice Edelbrock 4v carb, a C4 automatic transmission, power steering, manual brakes and top, and air conditioning. The red paintjob looks great up close, and the body metal is in excellent shape, no waves and all the panels are well-aligned. The interior is in similarly great condition, no damage and only very minor wear from use. The undercarriage is solid, rust- and damage-free. Lanny knew what he was doing with this one--the restoration was very well done. For overall structural integrity and preservation, MustangOnlyOne gives this a 10 out of 10 points as a restored like-original driver car, as it is solid, strong, and most of the original components have been preserved (it all matches the VIN specs).
