Let Me Tell You About the Owner...
Warren's a great guy out in California who we met up with over our website, and in no time we were already working with him on getting this baby sold. He bought this Mustang GT from a friend about 4 years ago, who had babied this car during his ownership but was then going through some financially hard times, so he had to let it go. Warren had always seen the potential in this car and knew that, with a little modification, it would be his perfect "street machine." The car was extremely clean and always garage-kept, so Warren knew he was buying into a good, solid car. Warren drove it as-is for about two months before initiating the plans he had for her.
Warren wanted to keep this car original in appearance (we can't blame him; we love what Ford has done to their Pony car these last few years) but adding as much power and enjoyability as possible. First things first, he installed a Flowmaster exhaust system in anticipation for the added power to come, then went on to the suspension. The car was lowered 1" all around and hi-po equipment was put on the rear suspension. He then had the transmission sent off to Gearvenders, a shop that specializes in optimizing and beefing-up transmissions; what he got back was a one-of-a-kind automatic transmission. Lastly, Warren went to work on suping up that gorgeous 4.6L V8 stock engine. He installed a complete ATI Procharger system with Intercooler, as well as a computerized fuel assist module, which all-in-all added about 175 horsepower to the wheels.
This car is a complete and respectable street racer as-is. The costs of the upgrades alone exceed the asking price of the vehicle, so it's kind of like buying a bunch of high-performance racing equipment and getting a Mustang GT for FREE, Warren jokes.

What makes this 'Stang so great is that it looks like a stock 2001 Mustang GT, but drives as anything but. It still has the original 4.6L V8 engine and automatic transmission, but they have been modded and improved in many ways. The engine has an ATI Procharger with Intercooler system installed, as well as a computerized fuel assist module--Warren says that the car boosts about 379 horsepower. The transmission has a Gearvenders overdrive with custom driveshaft, along with a RetroTek electronic shifter which allows each gear to be split, essentially giving you an 8-Speed Automatic transmission with double overdrive. The suspension has lowered the car by 1" all around and has hi-po Hotchkiss springs and tubular control arms on the rear. This also has a top-of-the-line Flowmaster exhaust system which can handle anything the engine dishes out. The leather interior is all-original and gorgeous, in absolutely excellent condition. The black exterior is in very good condition, extremely well taken care of, with no visible body or paint damage. For overall integrity, performance and reliability, MustangOnlyOne gives this car a 10 out of 10 points as a modified street racer, as it runs great and was modified professionally, so it can be counted on to cruise the streets and win races alike.
