Let Me Tell You About the Owner...

Chuck is a retiree in Arizona with tons of Mustangs and plenty of time. In true retiree fashion, Chuck likes to take his time working on each car project that he takes on, and refuses to be rushed or to rush himself on any of the work he does. He's acquired numerous Mustangs in recent years, including a very rare GT California Special, which we hope to have up on our website very soon. Chuck bought this car about six months ago from a guy who had owned it for about fifteen years, and Chuck says that this car has NEVER lived outside of Arizona. Chuck had bought this car to get it to a friend of his, but his friend ended up backing out of the deal, so now Chuck needs to get rid of this car and move on to another project, so he's chosen us to help him sell this baby to its next owner.
Thank you for helping us save this beauty! She needs to be in the right hands: someone that will garage her, restore her, and love her.
MustangOnlyOne Summary:
What makes this 'Stang so great is that it is a 1970 Mach I in daily driver condition, as it runs smoothly and powerfully but needs some cosmetic reconditioning to be in perfect shape. It has great options included from the factory, such as an M-Code 351 Cleveland 4v V8 with 445 Horsepower which has had Holley Super Comp. racing headers and a 750 Holley Double Pumper carb added on, Cobra Jet shaker hood and air filter system, 4-speed manual transmission, in-dash air conditioning (though the compressor has been removed, so the A/C is not functioning at this time) and power brakes. But this car also has a lot of customization, such as a custom steering wheel, a rollbar, and a top-quality sound system which includes a Pioneer DEH 77 CD player, an Alpine 3015 EQ pre-amp, 4 Orion 280 GX amps (160 watts each), 2 Orion 200 CRX (crossovers), 1 Orion BDG (bridge amp), 2 MTX 15" woofers, 1 MDX 8" midrange, 2 4" Laser midranges, and 6 various Tweeters. That's some system! This car also has a positive-traction rear end and a complete Global West negative-roll suspension system, which includes a tubular upper-control arm, subframe connectors, heavy duty rear springs, poly-aluminum bushings, and coil-over gas shocks. It also comes with an NOx system which gives the engine a 150 Horsepower boost. The interior is in daily driver condition, with some wear and loose wiring (not tied up and out of sight), and has aftermarket seats. The undercarriage is solid and rust-free. The engine compartment has had a lot of work done, such as the MSD Ignition system and the bar, and as such is very clean and damage-free. For overall frame preservation and reliability, MustangOnlyOne gives this car an 8 out of 10 points and classifies it as a resto-mod daily driver, as it has had a lot of cutting and custom work done to accomodate the sound system and rollbars, specifically, but is also a solid, reliable driver car for anyone looking to peel out on the asphalt.
