Let Me Tell You About the Owner...

Ken is a collector, car afficionado, and parts dealer that Doug met out in Arizona, and we can manage to forgive his penchance for Trans Ams because of the two awesome Mustangs he owns: a 1973 Mach I with Ram Air and a 1969 Mach I! Ken is a huge fan of the New York Giants and the Yankees, and has numerous decals, flags, and signs in his collection to evidence this. He likes to collect old-fashioned signs about cars, country, and rock bands, but also miniature cars and flags (see the Trans Am flag above). He runs a 2nd-Generation Trans Am parts specialty as a business, but also does a lot of the restoration work on his classic cars. Ken's ready to sell of his 1973 Mach I, and was able to give us a detailed history of the work he's done on it, all while asking a great price.
MustangOnlyOne Summary:
What makes this 'Stang so great is that it is a 1973 Mustang Mach I with Ram Air Induction with a rebuilt engine and transmission with only 11,000 miles on them. When he had the engine and tranny rebuilt, Ken also replaced the headliner, carpet, and seat upholstery, so most of the interior is in like-new condition. The front end is in perfect condition, drives straight, with new shocks. Ken also installed a 4v Edelbrock carb on top of the 351 Cleveland, which was originally a 2v (see the VIN, this is an H-code), and headers with true dual exhaust. The door panels are original and in good shape, but do have cracks (see slideshow pics), while the dash pad is fine with no cracks, but does have two aftermarket speakers installed. This car originally had A/C, but all the components have been removed. The car was painted in 2001, but it does have some minor cracking and scratches on the body, but nothing major (see pics). This is an Arizona car through and through, and is totally rust-free. For overall frame preservation and reliability, MustangOnlyOne gives this car a 9.5 out of 10 points, as the carb has been replaced and the A/C removed. For overall quality and performance, MustangOnlyOne gives this car a 9 out of 10 points, as the scratches in the paint and the cracks in the door panels prevent it from getting a perfect 10. Otherwise, this car is in amazing condition, and priced VERY well.
